so..i just wrote this long communique about what’s goin down and the system crashes!!
f’n computers…i hate typing cause i “hunt n peck” as they say..uhg..
lots goin on…i’ll just give you the crux of it all..
“loose grooves and bastard blues” 10 year anniversary this year..
it’ll be reissued w a couple bonus beats ,remastered, new colorway and i think i’m gonna make picks and put em inside the cd…
“return of the bastard” is a what i’m working on now which is sort of a follow up of loose..it’s in the same style/approach/improv/off the cuff/by the seat of my pants kind of trip..you know my steez…did i say steez!?...trying to stay current i guess ..
both should be out sept-oct… keep yer ears/eyes open..
blktop project has just been released in the states on galaxia..
core of the band is ray barbee,chuck treece ,tg and matt rodriguez..
doug scharin is on the recording..good stuff!..
we r playing slap mags 15 year anniversary party on april 20th @ club 6 in sf..come on down and shake yer chicken!..
jet black crayon-tg,monte vallier and gadget-have been in the studio working on an ep that will have short films that accompany the songs…
cheryl dunn,andrew paynter,dan wolfe to name a few will be contributing to this endeavor..should be out in japan in sept..not sure about u.s. release..stay tuned..
